Only about 380 vertical meters are to be overcome on the 20 km long route to St. Leonhard with possibility of several restoral stops along the way. Once there, it's worth making a detour to the Andreas Hofer Museum with its very well-made exhibition on this personality and the term heroism. The way back then runs very relaxed, always slightly downhill and nice and cool along the water.
Cycle Path
Directly from the center of Meran and therefore easy to reach from the hotel you find the bike path for Passeiertal valley. It leads along the Passer river to St. Leonhard, always far away from roads and through a beautiful valley landscape with orchards, grassland and forests.
