Although only opened in 2001, this botanical garden has managed to make a name for itself internationally. He became "Most Beautiful Garden of Italy 2013" and "Most Beautiful Garden International" a few years later.

Medieval is the character of the city center of Merano  with its closely packed houses. Especially in the “Laubengasse”, where the buildings are connected by arcades, this is evident and in the Steinach district, the oldest part of the city, which was always reserved for the artists.
