BIKING IN MERANO

In recent years Merano has become a center of bike sports. Whether e-bike, touring bike or mountain bike: there are exciting tours for everyone. The cycle paths of the Vinschgau, the Passeier Valley and the Adige Valley allow you to drive from village to village, always through fields off of the roads. There are many sights and great natural landscapes to discover. If you want more excitement, you can climb on numerous forest roads and bike trails the mountains around Merano, where 2,000 meters altitudes are not uncommon. Or you can use one of the numerous cable cars to gain altitude and to get on exciting trails over high pastures and through forests.
Cycling in Vinschgau
80 kilometers comfortably easy to cycle downhill through orchards, past old villages and towns, along lakes and along the Adige, always far from the roads: this offers the perfectly developed cycle path of the Vinschgau valley, which runs between Merano and Reschen.

Cycle Path
Directly from the center of Meran and therefore easy to reach from the hotel you find the bike path for Passeiertal valley. It leads along the Passer river to St. Leonhard, always far away from roads and through a beautiful valley landscape with orchards, grassland and forests.
